Each of our talented and caring massage therapists have varied areas of expertise; Swedish, Hot Basalt Stone, Aromatherapy, Thai, Esalen, Prenatal, Deep Tissue, Sport-specific, Craniosacral Therapy and more. They will be happy to custom-create a massage that will benefit your whole being---body, mind, and spirit!
Ursula is a naturopathic practitioner of many years. She has studied naturopathic practice in Germany---where she owned a health food store---and the U.S., and is certified in many areas; lymphatic facial therapy, cosmetology, massage therapy, reflexology, Reiki, etc. She is a Master Herbalist and Teaching Reiki Master and is currently pursuing naturopathic doctor certification. Ursula's specialty is Esalen Massage, a type of massage begun in Big Sur, California, that encompasses body, mind, and spirit. This type of massage takes from one to one and one half hours, depending on individual client needs. Ursula uses aromatherapy as an adjunct to massage therapy when appropriate. Ursula is at the Healing Zone Thursdays through Mondays.
Sheree has had many years of experience as a massage therapist and is known for her creative techniques that fully focus on the individual clients needs. She has been performing Reiki hands on healing for over 20 years, and has been a traditional Usui Reiki Master teacher for 17 years. She uses the following treatment modalities and is also able and willing to create a massage experience designed just for you: Chakra balancing using various crystals/gems/wands and color therapy; Swedish massage; hot basalt stone massage; medical massage; sports specific; Himalayan Salt scrub; sugar scrub, and clay detox wrap. Sheree uses a specific blend of essential oils with each massage, along with aromatherapy when appropriate. Sheree is at the Healing Zone on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays and can schedule later-day appointments on weekends.
Robin has been a massage therapist for almost twenty years. Her specialities are Swedish, Sports, and especially Deep Tissue Massage. Robin is currently working on adding to her skill-set, as she enjoys learning and mastering new techniques. Robin is at the Healing Zone on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Mary is a massage therapist who has been trained in many different modalities. Mary's focus at the Healing Zone is on Thai Massage (think 'lazy man's yoga!'), Craniosacral Therapy, and Prenatal Massage. Mary is one of few therapists in the Pocono Region who is proficient in Thai Massage and Craniosacral Therapy and she enjoys introducing people to the outstanding benefits of both of these unique therapies. Mary is at the Healing Zone on Wednesdays.
